WATER BASED
Our LuxeBrite™ ink is a high-opacity water-based ink that creates a slightly thicker print than LuxeSoft™ ink. It does have a slight hand feel to it but results are an extremely vibrant print across all fabric colors and blends.
LuxeBrite™ ink rests on the fabric's surface, resembling plastisol but with a thinner ink layer that offers superior wash-fastness and elongation properties. The placement of the ink on the fabric's surface can be crucial for specific designs as it refracts light in a distinct manner.
Developed specifically for Nike® and Adidas® performance materials, LuxeBrite™ has since been found to have numerous practical uses in a wide range of fabric types.
LuxeBrite™ does have more of hand feel than our LuxeSoft™ ink but is still very soft. It does require an under base but the durability is unmatched. Achieve a striking contrast in texture by mixing LuxeBrite™ with other inks. Take a look at the image on the right, where we have expertly combined LuxeBrite™ with puff plastisol.
